We’ve all seen the nostalgic pictures of fishermen on the back of a Brabant draft horse plodding through the sea, trawling nets in order to catch grey shrimp. But have you ever encountered them in real life? Throughout the year they demonstrate their skills. Play nice and they might even let you taste some freshly caught and cooked grey shrimp. P.S. They’re on the United Nations world list of intangible cultural heritage.
